eTwinning 30 January 2012
This was our first attempt at using the eTwinning software. Our pupils used the instant messaging service to find out about each other.
We were very pleased with the way it went and will certainly repeat the activity. We really enjoyed the experience. The best bit was comparing the lives of students in other countries. We liked finding out what subjects they were doing and what subjects they would like to do next. We found it strange that they didn’t wear a uniform.
Next time we would like a session where we can see each other via web cam.

This is what the Slovak students have said about the event:
"It was great experience for me. I had never chatted with English people before. I´m looking forward to chatting with them again." Norbert
"It was very funny and I wish we had this kind of activity more often. It was very good experience for me." Lucia
"On the one hand I was disappointed with the age of the English pupils because it was hard to find common interests since we are much older, but on the other hand it was a good opportunity for me to practice my English." (Katarina)
"I liked chatting with the English students. It was very interesting and it was a challenge for me. But I didn´t like that they used unknown words or slang." (Sona)
"I think it was a good idea to learn English this way." (Lea)
"We wrote about their views on wearing uniforms. Although they were younger than us I think writing with them was very interesting." (Jarka)
